XPENG UK ARRIVES IN SCOTLAND

XPENG UK has continued its expansion in the UK with the launch of its first Scottish dealership. Following successful UK openings in Nottingham and Southampton, this new retail location in East Kilbride marks another key milestone in the brand’s growing national network.

Customers in Scotland can now experience the next-generation XPENG G6 for themselves: a premium, all-electric SUV that blends cutting-edge innovation with real-world practicality. The G6 is now available to order nationwide, with first customer deliveries expected in the coming weeks.

Park’s Motor Group’s new XPENG showroom in East Kilbride has been designed to reflect the brand’s core values of innovation, accessibility and a seamless ownership experience. Customers will be able to explore the brand’s intelligent vehicle ecosystem, interact with digital displays and receive expert support from XPENG product specialists.

XPENG plans to open 20 to 25 dealerships across the UK by the end of 2025, supported by strategically located aftersales hubs to provide nationwide coverage and a best-in-class customer experience.

Chris Graham, Network Development Manager at XPENG UK, who was present at Park’s opening, said, “We have received a substantial amount of interest from potential partners for franchise opportunities right across the UK and will expand our network of retailers and aftersales points throughout the year. However, we are taking our time to ensure we grow our network organically and choose the best partners to be selling XPENG vehicles. A few of the areas that I have not yet committed to are Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Carlisle, Newcastle and Liverpool, so we still have time to consider any interested parties.”
